Map a remote-care workflow before adding AI
A workflow diagram can reveal where information is incomplete, where responsibility changes and where a technical failure could interrupt care.
Describe the handoffs
Identify who gathers information, checks its quality, reviews it and communicates the next step. Keep responsibilities explicit rather than attributing a decision to an unspecified algorithm.
Design the fallback
Consider an interrupted connection, an unavailable device or an output that cannot be interpreted. The appropriate response must be defined by the responsible service, not improvised by a general-purpose chatbot.
Evaluate the intended setting
Use suitable governance and qualified review for any clinical pilot. An educational example is not a validated pathway and should not be used to determine treatment.
